We now have our heads in development which its going at full steam. The past week and a half I have been in Montreal, and a forest, working with Jill to lock down the script and story for Mainlining. Now that everything is there and had another writing pass we wanted to get Case 1 out on Steam!
Now that we are on Steam it means we can take full advantage of their community tools, not only making it simpler for you to share let’s plays and screenshots, it lets us talk to you easier and respond to any questions/feedback you have.
So we have had our heads down for the last week getting Mainlining ready to show off. I’m looking forward to talking here more about the development and our process/reasoning for different aspects of the game, but for now I want to tell you where you can play it at its first public show!
Hey, I'm Sam, a games designer and programmer based in the UK and owner of Rebelephant Ltd. After co-founding HyperSloth with the great guys there we made Dream over 3 years, then I decided to leave; partly due to moving the the other side of the country and partly because I needed a mortgage (which isn't easy when you're self employed!).
Rebelephant Ltd. is really a vehicle for me to work with interesting and talented people, possibly on a project by project basis, possibly for however long they want to stick around. That gives us freedom to work on a large amount of diverse projects, the first of which we will be announcing next week!
For the foreseeable future this blog will be about the development of that game, most of which will be written by me but some by those talented people I mentioned earlier. I hope you enjoy the blog and then later the game!
